Hate can not drive out hate, only love can do that. Dr Martin Luther King Jr.

Members of Hope Worldwide, South Sound Church of Christ and park stewards completed a day of service dedicated to the memory of Dr Martin Luther King Jr. on Saturday the 19th of January. Volunteers attacked Bobcat Run Type 2 Puncheons with gusto, completing work started several months ago. They hauled in about 3,000lbs of rock to armor the puncheon landings and split and installed tread on the stringers laid down earlier. This popular trail connects the North 250 to all the trails in the southern end of the park. The Type II puncheon has the least impact on the forest environment. It is constructed from windthrown trees.
